The characters

Cami Broussard is your average eighteen-year old high school student but she also has a passion for...cooking! You see, when you're French, your father runs and is the chef in a French restaurant and you've spent more than 10 years in a professional kitchen, wanting to be a chef when you graduate high school sounds pretty normal. But that's exactly what Cami has planned. Plus, her boyfriend,Luke, works at the same restaurant which makes things bearable.
But when Julian Wyatt, a twenty-year old soldier and Cami's stepmother's nephew is severely injured during an attack in Afghanistan, her life will dramatically change...

First, she gives her room to Julian because he can't even walk and needs time to recover and then she has to put up with him and his attitude. Moreover, she has to deal with her boyfriend, who feels threatened by Julian and is asking for more from Cami, thing that pressures her. And there's Cami's father who doesn't accept Cami's wish and wants her to go to college and study, not become a chef who will work long hours and spend little time with her family.

As a result of the above, she feels confused, frustrated and lost. But Julian turns out to be Cami;s shelter.A breath of fresh air when life suffocates her! The two of them grow closer together and in the process, they discover not only each other, but themselves as well...
